Andrew (He/Him) is a director, producer, actor, theatre maker and the Founder/Artistic Director of Technicolour Theatre Company. GPTA Nom) and ‘Michael Minetti’ in Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks (Javeenbah). CP has cultivated an impressive list of teaching credits, each a source of great pride. At the University of New England’s Earle Page College, he filled the role of Theatre Academic Mentor, securing a Resident Fellowship and Cultural Bursary for achievements in Performing Arts. He has worked as resident senior drama teacher for Spotlight Theatrical Company (2016-18), resident head tutor for Technicolour Theatre Company (2019-present) and senior drama tutor for 'Raise Your Voice Workshops' (2017-present).

 

Under Andrew’s curation, Technicolour Theatre Company facilitates opportunities for engagement between young/emerging performance artists and various industry professionals, empowering ensemble members with the practical skills and technical knowledge to develop their craft.

 

Regarded as “dedicated, creative, innovative and pioneering… [and] undoubtedly already leading the way in bringing youth and adults back to the heart and soul of theatre." (Dr Elizabeth Celi). Andrew is also an award-winning lighting designer and choreographer, winning two Dolphin Awards for his work on Lady Windermere’s Fan in 2017 and various Gold Palm Theatre Award nominations for set and lighting design adjacent to his direction. In 2019 he accepted a Special President's Award for services to Gold Coast Theatre. He also convened and curated the Gold Coast Festival of One Act Plays, facilitating the creative development and premiere of three new Australian Plays.
